Marlborough – Katherine Argeris, 74, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 12, 2025 in the Marlborough Hills Rehabilitation Center after a long illness.
Katherine was born in Newark, New Jersey, daughter of the late Christos and Lillian (Demetre) Argeris. She is predeceased by her sister, Christina Argeris Thomas and is survived by her two loving nieces who helped care for her, Tassia Thomas of Cambridge, MA and Daphne Thomas of Boylston, MA.
Before moving to Massachusetts, Katherine worked in her family business, James F. White & Company in New Jersey as a secretary and administrative assistant.
Katherine was a fan of Elvis Presley and would not hesitate to sing along with his songs as well as reading her favorite romance novels. However, she was truly the happiest when she was spending time with her family around the holidays and celebrating her Greek Heritage with authentic food made by family.
Private entombment will take place in Hollywood Memorial Park and Cemetery in Union, New Jersey. Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester is honored to be directing arrangements.
