Grandfather of Meg, Kristin, Lauren, Sarah, William, Clair, MaryKate, and Tiffany. Great-grandfather of Brady.
Donald was a retired history teacher and hockey coach at Newton North High School.
Visiting hours will be held at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 1305 Highland Ave, Needham on Tuesday, June 17 from 4-7pm. His funeral will be held from the funeral home on Wednesday, June 18 at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph’s Church, Needham at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Private interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Needham.
