Paul Herbert Farrell, 80, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 8, 2025 at CHA Whidden Hospital in Everett after a lengthy illness.
Born in Everett in February 1945, Paul was the son of the late Edgar H. and the late Florence (Ross) Farrell, and stepson of the late Patricia (McMakin) Farrell. Paul grew up in Everett and graduated from Everett High School with the Class of 1963.
Following high school, Paul proudly served in the United States Air Force, where he attained the rank of Sergeant. After his honorable discharge, he worked as a truck mechanic for H.P. Hood Milk, a position he held for several years with dedication.
Paul made his home in Georgetown, where he was a longtime resident of Lakeshore Drive for over 40 years. In more recent years, he lived at the Soldiers’ Home in Chelsea, where he was cared for with compassion and respect. He was a man of simple pleasures, he found enjoyment in cheering on his favorite teams—the Red Sox and the Patriots.
He is survived by his siblings: Edith McGrath of New Jersey, Pauline Sulprizio of Groton, Deborah Farrell of Saugus, Maureen DiSario of Tewksbury and John Ditter of Medford. He was the brother of the late Phyllis Thompson, Alan Farrell, and Darlene Ditter.

On Tuesday, June 17, 2025, all are welcome to attend his visitation from 1:00 pm until 1:30 pm at the Tewksbury Funeral Home, 1 Dewey Street, Tewksbury, 01876.
His funeral service will take place in the funeral home at the conclusion of the visitation at 1:30pm. followed by procession to the West Parish Garden Cemetery in Andover.
