Bruce Richard Vieira 65, of Ocala, Florida passed away peacefully after a long illness on February 23, 2025 at home at Pine Run Estates, Ocala, Florida.
Born in Fall River on June 25,1960, son of Richard D.A Vieira and the late Deltha/Del {Souza} Vieira, He lived in Westport for 25 years, attended and graduated Westport schools. Moved to Maine for some years, before moving to Ocala, Florida. He was a long distance truck driver, owner/operator, and also operated heavy land clearing equipment. Later in life was handyman, especially renovation baths and kitchens in Pine Run. He believed his best friend was his dog Molly.
Survivors include his son Joshua Vieira of Monticello, Maine; granddaughter Emelia Vieira of Maine; sister Cynthia { Vieira/Rego} Gallant of Lakewood Ranch, Florida: nephew Joseph Rego of Venice, Florida: niece Kimberly Rego of Fall River, Ma and several aunts and uncles and many cousins.
Mass of Christian burial to which family and friends are invited will be held Wednesday July 2, 2025 at St. John the Baptist Church, Westport 10:00 A.M.
Interment in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
