Gladys Vargas, aged 71 passed away peacefully on June 1, 2025, surrounded by those close to her in the comfort of her home. She was born on February 17, 1954, in Las Piedras Puerto Rico. She is the daughter of Petra Bentancourt and Pablo Velazquez. She was a loving mother, of 3 Alsenet Vargas Anastasio Vargas and Her baby Luis Vargas. She was an amazing aunt, grandmother, and friend. She was known for her energetic personality and her great sense of style. She could be found constantly singing, dancing, snacking on her lollipops, candy, and drinking her coffee. Her favorite place to go was the Casino. She was an amazing person and will be missed very dearly by all. She is survived by her sons Luis Vargas, Anastacio Vargas, 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, her siblings Maria soto, Carmen Velazquez and her Favorite son-in-law Melvin Ruiz That was by her side until her last breath along with her granddaughter Kelisha Rivera. She will be greatly missed.
