Findlay, OH- David W. York, 67, passed away on May 21, 2025, in Findlay, Ohio.
David was born on November 5, 1957, to Phyllis (Legere) and the late William York of Buxton, Maine. He served proudly in the United States Marine Corps from 1975 to 1979. After his military service, David built a dedicated career in logistics and manufacturing—working 15 years at SD Warren Paper Mill in Westbrook, ME, and retiring after 20 years with DHL Supply Chain in Ohio.
David will be remembered for his deep loyalty—to his country, his work, and those close to him. He was known for his optimistic outlook, warm smile, and infectious laughter. In the summertime, he loved returning to Maine to reconnect with family and friends.

He is also survived by his brother, Jeff York and his wife Gail of Limington, and their children Jeffrey, Ryan, Emily, Joshua, Dustin, and Stevie, along with great-nieces and nephews Ella, Hudson, Dawson, and Landon. His sister, Lisa Thomas, and her husband Kevin of Buxton, also survive him, as well as nieces Morgan Murphy (and her husband Riley of East Waterboro) and Lexi Thomas of Biddeford, and great-nephew William.
David shared the last 23 years of his life with his partner, Diana Hicks, with whom he lived in Ohio.
He is preceded in death by his father, William York.
