Donna M. Reichle

East Boston, Massachusetts
Donna Marie Reichle, a resident of Medford and Somerville, passed away on May 15, 2025, at the Advocate Healthcare in East Boston. She was 73.
Donna grew up in Somerville and graduated from Somerville High School where she was recognized for excellence in theatre arts as a member of the National Thespian Society, an honor society for high school and middle school theatre students.
After high school, Donna went to college for business and finance attending Northeastern University, Mass Bay Community College, and Middlesex Community College. For many years, she worked as an accounting/financial professional, including the public accounting firm of Goloboy, Hass & Company, P.C, the Bearingpoint, Inc. company, and several other companies.
Donna was a proud member of American Mensa, whose members have high intelligence. Members must score in the top 2 percent of the general population on a standardized IQ test to qualify.
Donna cherished her cats: the love of her life, Isis, and previously, Topaz. She was a huge fan of the popular 1960’s spy drama TV series “The Man from U.N.C.LE.” She also rooted for her hometown sports teams the Boston Red Sox and the Boston Bruins.
Later in life, Donna enjoyed sending out comic strips and jokes to family and friends via e-mail, as well as playing online video games with her Facebook friends.
Donna was predeceased by her parents Charles A. Reichle, Jr. and Mary J. (O’Neill) Reichle, of Somerville, her sister Sally Ann Reichle, her aunt Patricia (O’Neill) McCulloch, her uncle Basil McCulloch, and her cousins, Clifford Atkins and David Atkins. Donna is survived by her aunt Diane (O’Neill) MacDonald of Nashua, NH, her cousins, Steven McCulloch (Diana) of Franklin, Stephanie McCulloch of Blackstone, and Jessica Atkins-Haire and Lucille Atkins-Haire of Norwood.
Burial will be at a later date and will be private.
