Berthe Y. (Cote) Boisvert, a dedicated wife, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away peacefully on Friday, June 6, 2025 in her home while surrounded by family. She was born on June 22, 1930, in Ville St. Pierre Montreal, Quebec, Canada, daughter of Josephat and Vitaline (Lefebvre) Cote.
Berthe was married for 67 wonderful years to the love of her life, Donald E. Boisvert, who passed away on April 22, 2024. Together, they raised two children, Carole M. Cormier and her husband, Brian of Leicester, MA and Donald E. Boisvert Jr. and his wife, Alison of Rochdale, MA. She was a devoted grandmother to Derek Cormier and his wife, Lindsey, Danielle Cormier, David Boisvert and his wife, Kayla, and Chantel Boisvert, and a proud great-grandmother to Michael Cormier, Matthew Cormier, and Meredith Cormier.
Berthe was a woman of strong faith and was a longtime parishioner of the former Holy Name of Jesus Church in Worcester, later joining Our Lady of the Angels Church in Worcester.
Time spent with family was precious to Berthe. She cherished her trips back home to Canada, where she could reconnect with her extended family. She took great joy in being with her husband and children and faithfully went to her grandchildren's sporting events, always offering her unwavering support and love.
Berthe is predeceased by two brothers, Roland Cote and Andre Cote, and a sister, Celine Smith. She is survived by a sister, Lucille Jutras and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13 at 11 AM in Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester. A calling hour will be held from 10 to 11 in the funeral home prior to the funeral. Entombment will follow in Notre Dame Mausoleum, 162 Webster St. Worcester.
