Ms. Donna M. (Turner) Wickson, 72, of Haverhill, passed away Friday, June 6th, 2025, peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family.
Donna was the daughter of the late Edwin and Edna (Robinson) Turner.
She was born in Cambridge, MA, but raised her children in Chelmsford, MA and later relocated to Haverhill, MA to be closer to her family.
Donna worked as an insurance agent for many years and took pride in being a successful agent while caring for her children independently.
In Donna’s personal time, she enjoyed maintaining a meticulous garden, dining out, traveling, and most of all spending time with her family. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy, in which she always showed her unconditional love.
Donna was predeceased by her son George A. Wickson IV. She is survived by her daughter, Krysta and her husband Nicholas Doucette of Hampstead, NH. She has three sisters and a brother: Denise Indelicato of Nashua, NH, Doreen Turner of Danvers, MA, Robin O’Neill and her husband Joseph of Burlington, MA, and Edwin Turner III and his wife Karen (Sloan) of Dover, NH. Donna, “Nana” leaves behind her grandchildren Aubrie and Derek Doucette of Hampstead, NH, Brooke Wickson of Methuen, MA, and Georgio Doucette (and his mother Jacquelyn Hurst) of Candia, NH. Donna also spent much time with her “step-dad”, Smiley, had many nieces, nephews, and her very own girl squad; Erin, Annika, Maya, and Paige.
We all take comfort in knowing Donna is resting in the sweetest peace with her middle school sweetheart, George A. Wickson III and their son. She will be missed tremendously and will forever be in our hearts.
Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, June 12th, 2025 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St, Tewksbury, MA. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am at the funeral home followed by a committal service at Tewksbury Cemetery. The family would like to invite all to wear a “pink” accent in honor of Donna.
