Born in Boston, MA on September 13, 1938, he was a loving son of the late Ernest J. and Elizabeth T. (Haskell) Dionne.
Bob grew up in the Town of Dedham and was a graduate of Dedham High School. Shortly after, during the time of the Vietnam War, he proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy. In addition to his wife of nearly forty-two years, he is survived by his devoted daughters, Carolanne McGrail and her husband Frank of Ware, Melissa Diamond of Taunton and Laura, Joey and Kathy. He was the cherished grandfather of Connie, Morgan, Olivia, Jack, Myles, Nolan, Emily, Erin and Molly. He was the dear brother of the late Carol Cobb, Peter Dionne and Lorraine Long. He is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews.
