BELMONT ---- Normand Henry McKeown, 92, of Farrarville Road, passed away at his home on Thursday, June 5, 2025.
Normand was born on January 30, 1933, in St. John, Quebec, Canada, the son of Patrick and Amelia (Chevarie) McKeown.
He worked for a paper mill and car wash business in Lincoln, as well as Belknap Tire and at a tannery. Normand was a boxer, better known as ‘Candlelight Kid’, “One blow and his opponent was lights out!”
Normand is survived by his beloved wife Anita (Bolduc) McKeown and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Normand was predeceased by his brother Tom McKeown and sisters, Margaret, Jacqueline, Jeanne and Marie.
There will be no calling hours.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 10:00am, at Saint Joseph Parish, 96 Main Street, Belmont, NH 03220.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations in Normand’s name be made to Bolduc Park Association, 282 Gilford Avenue, Gilford, NH 03249, or to Franklin VNA & Hospice, 75 Chestnut Street, Franklin, NH 03235.
