Obituary

Dennis A. Kairit, 70, of Bellingham, died Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at his home after a long battle with cancer surrounded by his loving wife and sons. He was the beloved husband of Nancy L. (Creasy) Kairit since 1998.

Born in Framingham on January 21, 1955, he was the son of the late Alfred and Virginia (Luke) Kairit.

Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, Dennis Kairit Jr. of Clinton, Austin Kairit and fiancé Shannon Hayes of Franklin Massachusetts and Dylan Kairit and his wife Hannah (Childs) Kairit of Florida and his granddaughter Scarlett Kairit.

He is also survived by three brothers, Thomas Kairit of Medway, Jeffrey Kairit and his wife Nancy R Kairit of Milford, and John Kairit and his wife Charlene Kairit of Medway.

Dennis was also survived by brother in-law Donald Ralph husband of his late sister Stephanie Ralph and James Smith fiancé of his late sister Cynthia Reding Kairit and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles and countless cousins.

Dennis was a resident of Bellingham since 2003 and formerly resided in Franklin. He grew up in Medway and graduated from Medway High School in 1973.

Dennis worked at Imperial Dade in Franklin as inventory control manager for the past six years and had formerly worked at Filenes/Macy's as an inventory control manager for 30 years.

Family was most important to Dennis. He coached little league when his boys were young and was involved in all their sport activities. Dennis had a great love of sports. He also enjoyed golf, watching Jeopardy which made him a pro at Trivia, Scrabble and boggle, was an avid cook, and loved his dogs.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Mass on Wednesday, June 11 at St. Brendan Parish, 382 Hartford Ave. in Bellingham at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Medway.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, June 10 from 4 - 7 p.m. in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway ginleyfuneralhomes.com
