Born October 21, 1956, in Beverly Ma. Jimmy as his friends and family called him, met his wife Anne McCormick at a young age and graduated from Beverly High School in 1974 in the middle of the pack with mediocre grades. Jimmy did not excel on any sports teams despite his avid belief that he could take on Larry Bird. Being raised by his Grandmother with his brother and sister provided many opportunities to hone his pranking skills. After waking up way too early to work for Ricoh formerly known as Savin he ditched the suit and tie and embraced his passion for music and continued to work at Charlie's Taphouse in Hampton. Jimmy passed semi-peacefully while listening to Anne sing her version of every Rolling Stones song. Jimmy will be remembered as a jack of all trades but a master of none. Known widely for his simple one-liners and ability to eat anything, Jimmy Jimbo James is survived by his wife of 48 years, Anne Gallagher of Hampton, his children Courtney and Daniel Jones of Rochester, and Stacey and Adam Vignault of Nashua. He has left behind his grandchildren who he menaced up to his last day, Carson, Greg, Emily, Ally and Reneau. We're sure he has many friends too but he would've preferred for them not to meet his crazy family. Jimmy is predeceased by both parents, his brother Donald, his son Gage and grandchild Riley.
A memorial is planned for Saturday June 7th at Charlie's Taphouse in Hampton at 2pm.
