Sue Hendley Walker, 70, of Ocilla, Georgia, died Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, Georgia.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening, from 4 PM until 6 PM, at the Paulk Funeral Home, in Fitzgerald, Georgia.
Mrs. Walker was born November 20, 1954, in Ocilla, Georgia, to the late Cecil & Margie Kitchens Hendley. She graduated from Irwin County High School in 1973 and was a secretary for Taylor & Towson Insurance Agency. Mrs. Walker loved the Georgia Bulldogs, the beach and attending skydiving Boogie’s with her husband. She was a member of Central Wesleyan.
She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Wesley Walker of Ocilla; a daughter, Amber Leakway & Mark of St. Marys; two nephews: Phillip & Becky Hankins and Ronnie Hendley; a niece, Kay Hendley; great nephews: Kirsten Bryan and Jason Hendley; great nieces: Mallory Hankins and Macy Hankins and brother-in-law, Tim Walker of Dallas, Texas. Several cousins also survive. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant grandson and siblings: Kenneth Hendley, Leon Hendley, Shirley & Larry Hankins.
