Cherry Valley – Sandra A. (Jamieson) Hidenfelter, 84, of Cherry Valley passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2025 in Knollwood Nursing Center after an illness.
Sandra was married for 60 years to the late Paul Hidenfelter, who died in 2022. She is survived by her two daughters, Donna Barber and her husband, Todd of Spencer and Lynn Teague and her husband, Edward of Grafton; three grandsons, Edward Teague Jr., Brian Barber and Alec Barber and many nephews and nieces.
She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late, Merlin and Loretta (Delaire) Jamieson and is predeceased by two brothers, Merlin Jamieson and James Jamieson. Sandra graduated from South High School and worked her entire career as a bookkeeper, first at the former Melville Shoe Company and then retiring from the former Thom McAn after over 25 years of service.
Mrs. Hidenfelter was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church. She was an avid reader and especially enjoyed reading mysteries and romance novels. Sandra would often look forward to visiting the library and doing crossword puzzles, but she was truly the happiest when she was taking day trips to Cape Cod and spending time with her family.
A private graveside service will be held in Saint John’s Cemetery 260 Cambridge St. Worcester where she will be laid to rest with her husband. Memorial contributions in memory of Sandra may be made to JHC Hospice 629 Salisbury Street Worcester, MA 01609.
