Tung Van Pham, 64, of Lowell, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, May 28, 2025. He was the beloved son of the late Toi Van Pham and the late Hien Thi Pham.
Born on March 3, 1961, in Saigon, Vietnam, Tung was raised and educated there before immigrating to the United States in 1989. He settled in Lowell, where he joined other family members already living in the area. After the passing of his mother, Tung spent time in Louisiana living with friends and offering his help with their work. In 2019, he returned to Lowell, where he remained until his passing.
Tung was known for his quiet nature and simple pleasures. He enjoyed riding his bicycle through the city and relaxing with a cigarette. Over the years, he worked a variety of jobs in the Lowell area, including at 7-Eleven, and frequently lent a hand to friends as a laborer, repairman, and landscaper.
He is survived by his brother Tam Van Pham and his wife Ngoc Minh Do of Lowell, and his sister June Pham of Woburn. He was the brother of the late Truc Van Pham
The funeral service will be held at 8:45 AM on Thursday June 5, 2025 at Lowell Cemetery, 77 Knapp Ave., Lowell, MA.
