Nancy M. Solley, Age 77, passed away on May 23rd, 2025 at Baystate Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 21st, 1948 in Holyoke, daughter of the late Roland and Geneva Pete of Holyoke. Nancy worked as an assistant chef and was also a hairdresser for many years before she retired. From a young age, Nancy displayed a natural talent for art. She had a passion for drawing and crocheting, and she took great joy in sharing her creations with her loved ones. Some of her fondest memories were family vacations at Salisbury campground, and she was a devoted fan of Rod Stewart. Nancy was full of love and she shared it with everyone who walked into her life, she loved to dance, play cards, and was always making everyone around her laugh. She was a beauty queen, and you could always find her with her curlers in and making sure her makeup looked nice for the day. She is survived by her beloved husband of 45 years, Billy G Solley, one son Billy E. Solly, two daughters, Kimberly Costa and her husband John and Brandy Solley. She also leaves three grandchildren, Natasha Costa, Alexia Vincelette and Amanda Costa and her wife Juliana Herrera and Sophia Markham, her first great grandchild. She is predeceased by her son Richard Daley. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 1:00 PM in St Rose de Lima Church, 600 Grattan St, Chicopee, MA.
