Emilia F. Choy, 92, of Boston, MA, died Friday, August 18, 2006 in the Essex Park Nursing Center in Beverly, MA. Mrs. Choy was born in Lima, Peru on May 22, 1914. She was a resident of Boston for the past 30 years, formerly living in Peru. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by two sons, Moises Choy and James Choy, both of Derry, NH; one daughter, Inez Pung of Manchester, NH; one step daughter Kam Sau Wong Long of Attleboro, MA; many grandchildren, many great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren, one brother, two sisters, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Elias Choy.
Calling hours were on Tuesday, August 22nd from 4 - 7pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Wednesday, August 23rd at 10:00am in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Ave., Derry. The burial followed in Forest Hill Cemetery, E. Derry.
