HIRAM – Nancy Lundy, age 83, passed away at her home on Thursday, May 29th from complications of cancer. Born December 10, 1941 in Newark, NJ, she lived the early part of her adult life in Woodbridge, NJ where she worked in customer service and in office clerical roles. She moved to ME with her husband Bill in 1995 and they have resided on Tripptown Rd since 1996. She was an avid tennis player garnering many club team trophies in NJ but after a disabling stroke in 1999 she helped raise a granddaughter, Deana Esculano, for many years while continuing to be a homemaker. In recent years, she has enjoyed riding along with her husband Bill and their dog Murphy while he played golf and assisted by telling him where his ball had landed due to his poor vision.
She is predeceased by her first husband Anthony Esculano with whom she had two children. She is survived by her husband William (Bill) Lundy with whom she spent the past forty-two years and her children Anthony (Tony) Esculano of Hiram and Debbie Esculano of Woodbridge, NJ, and Bill’s children- Ian Lundy and his wife Jill of Dalmatia, PA and Erin Hepworth and her husband Harry of Herndon, PA. She is also survived by her brother Gus Horter ofof Cornish and a sister Lynn McManus and her husband Ira of Rock Hill, SC as well as fifteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
