Richard, commonly known as Dick, left this world after a short battle with cancer.
He was born in Los Angeles, California to Suzanne Zammuto Manzullo and James Manzullo of Rockford, Illinois.
Richard was the class clown and Catholic School rebel.
He served in the United States Marine Corps and ultimately found his true passion was in Graphic Arts.
He was a charming guy with a quick wit. His Donald Duck voice was unsurpassed and will never be forgotten.
He was married three or four times to no avail. He ultimately found and enjoyed solitude. He loved the desert and his guns.
He retired back to Rockford, Illinois from a second career in engineering.
He made a full circle and ended up back in California with his Long-lost daughter.
Richard was very appreciative of his Rockford neighbors: Martha, Danny, and Donna, just to name a few.
Richard surrendered to God and acceptance; he peacefully left this world to join the immediate family that he missed - his mother, brother James, and his son "Bomer" Richard Anthony Manzullo, along with many others.
He is survived by his daughter, Lori Battaglia, 3 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren, many cousins and relative.
Arrangements are under the direction of the JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, Ventura.
