Innocenti, Joseph Ralph Jr., 90, of Harwich, MA passed peacefully on 5/29/25
Formerly of Belmont, MA, then of Cape Cod, Joe was born 11-10-34 in Claremont, NH, son of the late Joseph Sr, and Paulina (Bonaccorsi) Innocenti.
Joe was a proud graduate of Belmont Hill school and was always excited to attend his high school reunions. He was an avid bowler, fisherman and especially clammer, digging dozens of clams each summer to gift to his friends and family at Sweetwater Forest in Brewster.
Joe leaves his 3 children and their spouses: daughters Joelle Innocenti (John Kraft) of East Haven, CT, and Nannette (Nina) Innocenti (Alastair Ross-Bell) of London, England, and son Brian Innocenti (Brad Bassinger) of Salisbury, NC. He also leaves his grand-daughters Olivia and Anna Ross-Bell of London, the mother of his children Nancy Casey-Innocenti of Peabody, MA, his stepson Joseph (Christine) Costa of Harwich, MA, and his close friend and companion Paula Brown-Owens of Chatham, MA.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Brenda Innocenti Auchy, and his former wife of 25 years, Nancy Gormley-Innocenti. The family would like to thank the wonderful caring staff at his last three residences: the former Wingate in Brewster, Maplewood of Brewster, and Regal Care Harwich, and also the caring staff of Beacon Hospice.
Donations may be made in his name to the Perkins School for the Blind, Rosie’s Place or Pine Street Inn in Boston.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
