CHICOPEE – Shawn Eric Desrosiers, 56, was Called Home on Saturday, May 24, 2025. He was born in Holyoke on April 30, 1969 a beloved son of the late Arthur G. and Carol A. (Neumann) Desrosiers. He was raised and educated in South Hadley where he lived for most of his life. He was a floor finisher and was a member of the Carpenters and Floorcoverers Local 2168 of Boston. Shawn enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping and fishing. Most of all, he loved to spend time with his family and many friends. He leaves his beloved fiancée and best friend, Deborah L. Carney of South Hadley; Debbie’s mother, Phoebe E. Daunais of Hampden; her sister, Cindy M. Smart and her husband, Richard, of Hampden; and her brother, Kenneth J. Gress of Holyoke and his late wife, Tina. He also leaves his brother, Brett A. Desrosiers of Hadley and his extended family members and friends.
