Francis X. Murray, Jr., 70, of Bellingham, died peacefully on Sunday, May 25, 2025 at his daughter’s home in Franklin surrounded by his family.
Born in Los Angeles, California on January 23, 1955, he was the son of the late Francis X. and Gloria (Petrie) Murray, Sr.
Francis was a resident of Bellingham for the past 30 years. He grew up in Dorchester and Medway and graduated from Medway High School.
Francis worked as a self-employed contractor for many years.
He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandkids.
He is survived by two sons Francis X Murray, III of Little Falls, New York and Patrick J. Murray of Bellingham, and nine grandchildren.
He is also survived by his siblings, Sharon Murray, Thomas Murray, Mary Young, Judy Stevens, Kim Murray and Meg Carini and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was the brother of the late Joseph Murray.
Graveside services will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery in Medway at a later date.
