BUXTON- Ruthie Grace Morse age 81 passed away on May 24, 2025, unexpectedly at Sedgewood Commons nursing home in Falmouth ME. She was born in, Saco Maine on May 3rd, 1944, a daughter of the late Herbert and Rose (Tyrell) Grace. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Merle Morse Sr.'s five siblings- Beverly Grace Parker, Herbert Grace, Richard Grace, Rosemary Grace Desjardins, and Brenda Grace. Ruthie is survived by her baby sister Judith Hebert, several nieces and nephews her stepchildren, and grandchildren. She will be forever known for her quilt-making, crafting, baking, and pure dedication as a member of the North Saco Congregational Church. She was also Deacon Emeritus at the church. Before meeting Merle, she worked at Fairchild leaving there to start her 17-year-long career with Merle at Charlie's Tire where they both had the integrity of building a business solely on trust and great customer relationships.
Visitation will be held on Friday June 6th from 10 - 11 AM at the Chad E. Poitras Cremation and Funeral Service Chapel, 498 Long Plains Road (Rt. 22) in Buxton. A graveside service will follow the visitation at Highland Cemetery, Church Hill Road, Buxton.
