After graduating she was employed at R.H. Sterns as a buyer. She met “the love of her life” Raymond, as he offered her rides back home to see respective families in Berlin, NH on weekends. Mona was a beautiful person who made everybody feel welcomed and special. She had a keen sense of style and always carried herself with class. She enjoyed shopping, gardening, and extended vacations in the sunshine state. Her warmest memories were of times with her husband by her side, being with family, watching her children grow, summers in Akers Pond, but most especially her grandchildren and any time she could spend with them.
She was a devoted mother to Derek Vachon and his wife Kimberly (Dukeshire) of Estero, Florida formerly Stoneham, MA and Kimberly Vachon and her husband Robert Marques of Methuen; a loving Memere to Colby and Jaslyn Marques and Hannah and Gabrielle Vachon.
