CHICOPEE - Pauline Eva (Boutin) Normandin, 87, passed away on May 18, 2025 at her home in Chicopee, surrounded by her loving family. Pauline was born on October 1, 1937 in Holyoke, MA to the late Alphege and Lena (Renaud) Boutin. She married Ronald A. Normandin, Sr. on March 2, 1957. They raised six children, one grandchild and two great grandchildren. She is now with Ronnie who passed away in September 2024. Mom had several strokes after Dad’s passing. She missed him terribly and prayed for the day they would be together again. Pauline grew up in Holyoke and graduated from the former Precious Blood High School. During their early years of marriage, they lived in many states along the East Coast as Dad's career kept them on the move. Pauline is survived by her children, Paula Solock (Jack), Lisa Kampman (Peter), Ronald Normandin, Jr. (Sharon), and Robert Normandin (Tracy). Pauline also leaves a great-grandson, Ryan Provost who resided with her. Robert, his partner Tracy Molyneux and granddaughter Marissa Normandin were Pauline's caregivers for the past eight months. Pauline would not have been able to reside and pass away in her home if it was not for their devotion and loving care they gave her. She is also survived by her sister, Elaine (Pat) Fox of Puyallup, WA, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald, her daughters, Renee Normandin and Janice Desrosiers, her granddaughter, Jaime Normandin and her two brothers, Robert and Normand Boutin. The family would like to thank the wonderful support staff from Amedisys Beacon Hospice, especially Carolyn and Beth. Honoring Pauline's wishes, there will be no visiting hours. Pauline and Ronald will be laid to rest at Notre Dame Cemetery, South Hadley, MA at the convenience of the family.
