Jason “Jay” Michael Dorrier, 43, of Anderson passed away on May 19, 2025 at Community Hospital in Anderson following a brief illness.
He was born on November 17, 1981 in Elkhart, Indiana. He graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor’s Degree in New Media and Sound Design.
He was a video editor for Static Media for three years and for Channel Fox 59 for several years.
He was an avid collector of all things that interested him. He deeply loved his family, friends and his beloved Rottweiler, “Esther”. He was an outdoor enthusiast who enjoyed hiking, fishing, and spending time at the family cottage on Lake Tippecanoe.
He is survived by his wife, Lindsay Biggers of Anderson; his mother, Pamala Sue (Doug Nichols) Dorrier of Elkhart, IN; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Stephen and Linda Biggers of Indianapolis; two sisters-in-law, Courtney (Tim) Hertel and Stephanie (Joe Bartolo) Biggers all of Indianapolis; a nephew, Thomas Hertel; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Wilbur and Vivian Dorrier.
A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2025 from 2:00pm-5:00pm at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service; 229 S. Rangeline Road; Anderson, IN 46012.
