It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Larry DiBona, of South Easton, who died peacefully on April 27, 2025, at the age of 71.
Born in Quincy, Massachusetts, on October 29, 1953, Larry was the beloved son of the late Vincent and Rose DiBona. He spent his life working with dedication and skill as a Master Plumber and later served as a respected Plumbing Inspector for the Town of Needham. His knowledge, professionalism, and work ethic earned him the admiration of colleagues and the trust of the community.
Larry was an avid golfer who found great joy on the course, and he cherished the friendships and camaraderie the game brought into his life. Beyond his career and hobbies, Larry will be remembered most for his warmth, sense of humor, and deep devotion to those he loved.
He is survived by his longtime partner, Joan Wall; his daughter, Amanda DiBona-Lay, and son-in-law, Andrew; Joan’s daughters, Jen and Kim, whom Larry loved as his own; as well as his three sisters, a cherished niece, and several cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, Vincent and Rose DiBona.
Larry’s presence brought light to the lives of many, and his memory will be held dearly by all who knew him.
In accordance with his wishes, no public services will be held.
