Beverly A. (Ferreira) Morris, 79, of Westport, passed away at home on Thursday, May 15, 2025. She was the wife of the late Wendell C. Morris, they shared 30 years of marriage.
Mrs. Morris was born in Fall River, daughter of the late Alfred Ferreira, Sr. and the late Mary (Souza) Ferreira and had resided in Westport for most of her life. She enjoyed going to the casino, out to eat and getting her hair and nails done. She loved to sing and dance but her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Survivors include her son: Wendell C. Morris, Jr. and his wife Katherine of Tiverton; her 2 daughters: Cheryl A. DeMello and her husband Mark of Portsmouth and Wendy L. Olivier and her husband Jeffrey of Fall River; a brother: Alfred Ferreira, Jr. and his wife Gail of Fall River; a sister; Carol Fontaine and her husband Doug of FL; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Thursday, May 29, 2025 at Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport at 11:00 A.M.
The Morris Family wishes to invite everyone to a celebration of life gathering at Shorty's Pub, 87 Aetna St., Fall River, MA 02724 immediately following the graveside service.
