Mr. Allen F. McLeod, 84, of Salem, NH, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at Lawrence General
Hospital. The son of the late Frank and Mary Jane (Laliberte) McLeod, he was born on May 3, 1941 in
Lawrence and had been an area resident most of his life. Upon graduating from Central Catholic High
School, Allen Joined the United States Marine Corps and served honorably in Okinawa, achieving the
rank of Corporal. After returning to Lawrence he worked for many years at Watts Regulator Co., and
then worked at Pepsi Co. till his retirement. He also spent many years tending bar at the Colonial
Lounge, Daigle’s, and Cyr’s Tavern. Allen enjoyed playing Keno, and spending time with his family. Along
with his parents, Allen was also pre-deceased by his brother John McLeod. He is survived by two
daughters: Holly and her husband Louis Mailloux of Bedford, NH, and Bonnie Nichols of Salem, NH.
There are five grandchildren: Scott Mailloux of Nashua, NH, Jillian and her husband Matthew Flynn of
Bow, NH, Spencer Nichols of Nashua, NH, Brandon Nichols of Boston, and Sean Nichols of Salem, NH,
two great-grandchildren: William and Henry Flynn and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Edgar J. Racicot Inc. Funeral Home, 1400 Broadway Rd.,
Dracut. Per the family’s request all services will be private.
