Seang Sinh Saelee (79), born in Vientiane, Laos on August 16, 1945, passed away on May 16, 2025 after a long and courageous battle with renal disease.
He is survived by his wife, Muang Saelee of Franklin; his eldest son, Ying Saelee also of Franklin; Lo Saelee, his wife Laura Saelee of Uxbridge; his eldest daughter Jade Saelee, her husband Ethan Mai, of Hopedale, and Tute Saelee and her husband Christopher Torri of Medford. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, Aiden and Kenjiro Mai, and Ruby Saelee who lovingly called him ‘papa’.
Seang emigrated to the United States in 1980 determined to give his family a better future. As a devoted provider, he worked at Good Humor-Breyers as a machine operator for 23 years. He had a quick wit, fantastic sense of humor, and made everyone around him laugh. When he wasn’t watching bushcraft videos on YouTube, he was working on home projects or outside proudly tending to his massive garden. In his younger years, Seang was a farmer and loved fishing.
Seang was a great husband, father, grandfather, and will be deeply missed.
