Obituary

Patricia C. (Ellis) Haskell
STANDISH- Patti passed away May 15th at the Gosnell Memorial Hospital in Scarborough after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was the daughter of Clayton and Flora Ellis. She was born on Dec. 9, 1950, in Farmington. She grew up on a farm on Cowan Hill in Farmington. She attended school in Farmington before the family moved to Southern ME settling in Buxton.
She was the loving mother to three daughters. Patti loved life, loved traveling, gardening, sewing, quilting, cooking with her grand and great-grandchildren, camping, hiking, and the beach. Then to sit by the firepit outside to relax that her family helped build. She lived life to the fullest.
On December 14, 1968, Patricia married Arthur Hiscock, and together they raised three daughters: Malissa, Laura, and Cindy. They also cherished the memory of their stillborn daughter, Karen.
Later in life Patti met her high school classmate, fell in love, and married David Haskell on June 17, 2003. They built a home together on Bonny Eagle Pond in Standish.
She is survived by daughters Malissa & Ed Dubie of Old Orchard Beach, Laura Sawyer of Portland, Cindy & Allen Woodworth of Gray, 9 grandchildren & 6 great grandchildren. Daves children Myla, Sashell, and David 11, Her siblings Darcy & Judy Ellis of New Sharon, Vicki & Bob Anderson of Newfield, Steve Ellis of W. Jay, Kim & Ooy Ellis of Gorham, Todd & Kelly Ellis of Chicopee, Greg & Jenn Ellis of Chicopee and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband David Haskell, daughter Karen Hiscock and her parents Clayton and Flora Ellis.
Though she will be deeply missed, her spirit will forever Live in our hearts. The family would like to thank the staff at Gosnell House for all their kindness and care.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday May 27th at Chad E Poitras Cremation and Funeral Service Chapel 498 Long Plains Road (Rt. 22) in Buxton from 2-3 PM, followed by a time of sharing at 3 PM. Burial will be at Standish Cemetery.
