James Liam Donovan, 24, of Londonderry, NH, passed away on May 14, 2025. James was born January 9, 2001 in Wolfeboro, NH, the son of Amy Pitera and William J. Donovan III. James graduated from Kingswood High School, Wolfeboro NH, in 2019.
James worked, for many years, at the Great American Sub Shop in Londonderry, NH, where his work extended beyond the boundaries of the shop. He was always helping members of the community who needed help around their home or yard, whether it was small repairs or bigger projects.
James was a natural tinkerer who loved working on cars, motorcycles or anything with an engine. He loved construction projects and always had the biggest plans and ideas. James had two wonderful dogs, Rip and Oakley, whom he loved with all of his heart. He also loved to ski and to pass that passion onto others by teaching them.
Remaining to cherish James’ memory are his mother, Amy Pitera, of Manchester, NH, William J. Donovan III, of Wolfeboro, NH, and his siblings, Gregory Parker, of Manchester, NH, Lindsay Parker, of Salem, MA, William J. Donovan IV, of Londonderry, NH and Carly Giggi of Milford, NH.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 20th from 9:30am to 12:00pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. Memorial donations in James’ memory may be directed to the MSPCA at Northeast Animal Shelter, at www.mspca.org
