Obituary

Ralph R. Corsetti, 84, died August 17, 2006, at the Concord Hospice House after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.

He was born in Worcester, MA, March 6, 1922, and was the son of Ralph and Assunto “Sussie”(Carbinello) Corsetti. He lived in Medford, MA for many years and in Litchfield, NH for 21 years. He had been a resident of the Birches Assisted Living Community in Concord the past 3 years where his caregivers affectionately knew him as “Papa”.

He served in the US Army during World War II. He was employed by the Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority for 30 years. He was a proud member of the Boston Carmen's Union.

He was a very talented handyman who greatly enjoyed home projects.

He was predeceased by his wife, Josephine (Saia) Corsetti and by a son, James Corsetti.

Family members include two sons, Richard Corsetti of Pownal, Vt, and John A. Corsetti of Manchester; 5 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

The funeral was held Monday August 21, 2006 at the funeral home. Burial followed in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
