Jeanne Marie (Boiteau) Mourey, 78, of Franklin died May 13 at Benchmark Living in Franklin. She was the wife of the late Richard A. Mourey who died in 1996.
Born in Milford on October 28, 1946, the daughter of the late Bertrand and Mary (Geromini) Boiteau, Jeanne was raised in Bellingham and had lived in Franklin for many years.
She was a graduate of St. Clare’s High School in Woonsocket, Rhode Island and also a graduate of Dean Junior College.
Jeanne had been an accountant for the Town of Franklin for several years.
She had previously worked as a stenographer at the Army Natick Labs and also as a school bus driver.
Jeanne enjoyed quilting, reading and cooking.
She is survived by her son Matthew Mourey and his wife Prakriti Singh of Millbury.
She is also survived by her children, Paul T. Capuzziello of Florida and Jennifer A. Cherella of Rhode Island.
Jeanne is also survived by her brother Edward Boiteau of Arkansas.
Her funeral service will be held on May 17 at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Parish, 1 Church Square, Franklin.
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Franklin following the funeral service.
