Obituary

JEFFERSON, ME ---- Lillian Aletea 'Tootie' Levensaller, 96, passed away peacefully, Monday, May 12, 2025 at the Mid-Coast Hospital in Brunswick, ME.

Lillian was born in Plymouth, NH, the daughter of George and Alice (Soucy) Ward. She was raised in Hebron and Rumney NH. She married Frank Taylor, and moved to Concord and then settled for the majority of her life in Belmont. They had three children together and enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

Always a giving and caring person, Lillian worked at the Laconia State School until it closed, first as a caregiver and later in the office.

After the passing of her husband Frank, Lillian married Paul Levensaller. They resided in Jefferson, ME for over 25 years. Together with her husband, she enjoyed harness racing, going to the fair, and antiquing. She will always be remembered for her love and dedication to helping others. Her family holds great memories of her delicious cooking, hand knitted gifts, and her genuine kindness to everyone.

Family members include her daughter Frances Morrison and her husband, John of Belmont; daughter Donna Taylor of Belmont; five grandchildren: Julie McBride and her husband Mark, Jody Reed, Jered Reed, Andy Taylor and Jeff Taylor; nine great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, David Taylor and step-son Frank Taylor.

There will be no calling hours.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 23, 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Sewalls Falls Rd., Concord.
