It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of our mother, Mary Ralphs, who left us on April 30, 2025, after a beautifully lived life. Born on May 9, 1944, Mary was full of love, laughter, and resilience, she touched the lives of all who knew her. She leaves behind 3 sons (John, Kenny and Paul) and 2 daughters (Teri and Tricia), Nana to 5 grandchildren (Christopher, Desiree, Trenton, Elizabeth and Sabrina) and her sister Linda along with countless friends who felt her warmth and generosity.
Mary loved the holidays, especially Christmas and Easter. She loved her Santa Clauses and would display them every season. She loved having all various kinds of fruit cake each year. She always enjoyed her Chinese tea. She loved her chocolate, especially nonpareils. Mary enjoyed trying out different restaurants and experiencing different cuisines. Her favorites were steak & shrimp, and of course…some delicious desserts. She was always singing in the car when her favorite songs were on as we were driving.
Mary was kind, thoughtful and could always make you smile with her quick wit. Words cannot express how much she will be missed, but her generosity of spirit will live on in our hearts.
While no formal services will be held, the family will host a Celebration of Life at a future date to honor Mary’s memory. In the meantime, her loved ones invite everyone to celebrate her life in their own way — perhaps by sharing a cherished memory, saying one of her famous quotes, or simply holding her in their hearts with a smile.
