Evelyn M Egan 73 of Quincy, MA passed away at CareOne Randolph on Friday May 9th after a long battle withDementia/Alzheimer’s. Evelyn was born on April 27,1953 in Boston, MA. She was raised by her parents, the
late William R Egan and Evelyn (Lunnin) Egan. Sister to Mary Brooks, and GladysMarchart, and predeceased by Kathy Hanscom, Elizabeth Baldassari, Jeanette Egan, and William Egan.
Evelyn worked as a caregiver and was a stay-at-home mom. She raised her family in Dorchester/ Savin hill and then moved to Qunicy, MA Evelyn loved her music, and she loved to dance. She was always helping and cleaning for her family. She always would attend her children’s sports events when they were growing up. She always loved her family, and she enjoyed drinking her coffee whenever she could. Evelyn lived in Quincy, MA for the last 30 years of her life before being transferred to CareOne in Randolph.
She leaves behind her loving family, Thomas Sonia and his wife Dawn of Whitman, MA, James Sonia of Quincy, MA and Neila Foster of Weymouth, MA, and predeceased Joseph Sonia of Quincy, MA. Her grandchildren, Danielle, Christopher, Dylan, Thomas, Hailey, and great grandchild Mila. Who will all miss her dearly.
