Lorilee R. Fish, age 78, the retired Director of Parks and Recreation in Mansfield, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Friday, May 9, 2025.
Born in Worcester, ma on October12, 1946, she was a loving daughter of the late Rodney and Clementine “Tina” (Lodi) Fish.
Lorilee was raised and educated in Auburn and received her Bachelor’s Degree as a graduate of Plymouth State College. A resident of Mansfield for the past forty years, Lorilee was the retired Director of Parks and Recreation for the Town of Mansfield, a job she truly loved. She previously lived in the Rochester, New York area where she worked as a Parks and Recreation Director as well.
Lorilee very-much enjoyed living and being a part of the Mansfield community. She had a special love for animals and will be missed dearly by her dog “Charlie” and cats “Oscar” and “Henry”. Lorilee also enjoyed traveling, her favorite point of destination being trips to India.
She was the dear sister of Gary H. Fish, who is survived by his wife Bette Fish of Topsfield. She was the cherished aunt of Cynthia J. Smith of Exeter, Maine, Deron A. Fish of Lilburn, Georgia, the great aunt of Matthew Smith and his wife Nicole of Manchester, New Hampshire, Brianna Smith of Eden, Utah and the great-great aunt of Marleigh Smith of Manchester, New Hampshire.
Services and burial will be private and visiting hours are omitted.
A celebration of Life gathering will be scheduled in the future.
