In Loving Memory of Eileen N. Cafferky
May 9, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Eileen N. (MacNeil) Cafferky, who left this world peacefully on May 9, 2025, at the age of 65.
Born on July 7,”in Norfolk, Massachusetts, Eileen was known for her love of adventure and the outdoors, always ready in her earlier years to take her children on camping trips and create unforgettable memories. As the years went on, she found joy and sharpness of mind in playing cribbage and Scrabble, and of course her sewing.
Eileen dedicated her life to doing the very best she could for her family — a commitment she carried with quiet strength and pride. Her greatest joys in life were her children and grandchildren, whom she loved deeply and cherished above all else.
She was the beloved wife of Thomas Cafferky for 33 wonderful years and the proud mother of Bill and Cynthia Keller, Bryan Keller, and Michelle and Elias Leland. She adored her beautiful grandchildren, Layla, Aubrey, Kayden, and Brooklyn, who will carry her love with them always.
Eileen was predeceased by her parents, William and Barbara MacNeil, and five of her silblings Frank, Louise, William, Michael, Edward. She is survived by her dear siblings James MacNeil, Kathleen Corriea, and Barbara MacNeil, who, along with her extended family and many friends, will miss her deeply.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday May 17, 2025, at 9:45 am at the Norfolk Cemetery, followed by a memorial reception at the American Legion in Wrentham, Massachusetts at 12pm to follow. All who knew and loved Eileen are welcome to join.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough, Maine, in honor of the compassionate care they provided to Eileen in her final days.
Eileen’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be remembered for her adventurous spirit, her love for her family, her strength and the warmth and wit she brought to those around her.
