She was very active in serving her church, Saint Mary’s Assyrian Apostolic Church of Worcester, in many capacities, where she also sang in the church choir. She was an active member of the United Assyrian Association of Massachusetts, the Massachusetts Order of the Eastern Star, and Massachusetts Plumber’s Association Women’s Auxiliary. Mary enjoyed cooking, sewing, baking, knitting, crocheting and playing cards with her neighbors. She also enjoyed her frequent visits to Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun with Harold.
Mary was devoted to her family and took great pride in caring for her grandchildren. She was a warm and welcoming person, often hosting holidays and social events for her large extended family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew her.
The family would like to thank the many wonderful and compassionate people from Commonwealth Caregivers and Beacon Hospice that cared for Mary, especially those that were with her in her final days.
