Mr. James M. Kelley, a resident of Hooksett, New Hampshire, formerly of Andover and beloved husband of the late Constance E. (McGinley) Kelley, passed away at his home on Friday, May 2, 2025.
He was 84 years old.Born in Boston, Massachusetts, on December 26, 1940, he was the beloved son of the late Owen F. and Grace (Martine) Kelley. James was employed by New England Telephone for many years and was retired from Nynex where he served as the Director, Central Engineering. In his spare time, Mr. Kelley enjoyed reading and following the Red Sox and Celtics. He was a lifelong handball player and a 50 year member of the Huntington Ave. YMCA. He will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his loving children; Martine E. and her husband Gary R. Weber of Hooksett, New Hampshire, Michael O. and his wife Laura Kelley of Standish, Maine, Nicole M. and her husband Michael Mondello of Dracut and Valerie A. Kelley and her husband Robert Mondello of Windham, New Hampshire, brother; Kevin O. and his wife Geraldine Kelley of Andover, brother-in-law; Thomas Cobb of Charlestown, grandchildren; Owen, Siobhan, Declan, Samantha, Daniel, Melody, Kasey, Robert and Grace and many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Francis Kelley, Muriel McInnis and Walter P. Kelley.
James' funeral service will be celebrated in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home at 10:30 AM. For additional information, please visit, www.burkemagliozzi.com.
