Marie Jacqueline Beauvoir, age 88, of Brockton, passed away on April 30, 2025, at
Brockton Post Acute Care.
Born in Croix-Des-Bouquets, Haiti, she was the daughter of the late Bessiere and Prima
(Desravines) Beauvoir.
Marie Jacqueline worked at Barbour Welting in Brockton for many years as a sewer.
Her family will remember her courageous, fun, and loving personality. She was known
for her devout faith in God and profound love for her family. She enjoyed sewing,
singing traditional hymns, and cooking.
She is survived by her siblings, Eshter Ultimo of Brockton, Mimose Beauvoir of Paris,
France, Romain Beauvoir of Paris, France, and Julio Beauvoir of Montreal, Canada,
and many nieces and nephews. Marie was the sister of the late Gislaine (Beauvoir)
Saint-Phat, Marie (Beauvoir) Darius, Gerard Beauvoir, Gisele (Beauvoir) Joseph, Peres
Beauvoir, and Jean-Claude Beauvoir.
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service on Saturday, May 10th, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., at
Brockton Assembly of God, 199 Warren Avenue, Brockton. Visitation will be held from
8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the church prior to her service. Interment will follow in Melrose
Cemetery, Brockton.
