Elaine was born and raised in Worcester, the daughter of Clifford K. and Elsie A. (Kowalski) Robbins. She worked for many years as a dedicated clerk for the City of Worcester in the Housing Department, where her reliability and attention to detail were valued by colleagues and residents alike. Outside of work, Elaine found joy and peace outdoors. She was an avid gardener, often tending to her flowers and vegetables with care and pride. She loved being outside in all seasons, whether swimming in the summer or cross-country skiing through snowy trails in the winter. Her appreciation for nature was matched by her love for her family. Elaine cherished the time spent with her children and grandchildren, often hosting family gatherings that brought everyone together. Her warmth, energy, and easy laugh left lasting memories for all who knew her.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff at both Holden Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center and Notre Dame Hospice for the exceptional care and compassion they provided to Elaine during her final days. Their kindness and professionalism brought great comfort to Elaine and her family.
Her calling hours will be on Wednesday, May 14th from 5:00p.m. until 7:00p.m. in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will be private. To leave a memory or message of condolence please visit www.oconnorbrothers.com.
