Auburn – Amy L. Fredette, 52, of Auburn, passed away in Saint Vincent Hospital on Sunday, May 4, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Amy is survived by her lifelong partner, Kevin Deeds, their two daughters, Jolena N. Deeds and Sabrena A. Deeds both of Auburn; her parents, Bernard P. and Anne C. (Beland) Fredette both of Auburn; two sisters, Melissa White and her husband, Peter of Paxton (their children, Joshua, Jeremy and Emilie) and Caryn Fredette of Hardwick (her children Tyler, Lilly and Cloey) and great nieces and nephews (Willow, Levi, Athena and Jayden) and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Amy graduated from Auburn High School in 1990 and then continued her education at Clark University in Worcester where she graduated in 1995 with a bachelor’s degree. She worked for the City of Worcester as a chief accountant with the Department of Public Works.
Amy enjoyed working in her yard and tending to her flowers as well as taking trips to York, Maine but she was truly the happiest when she was spending time with her family. Her family was always the focal point of her life and she always prioritized her daughters above everything else.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Reliant Oncology and Infusion Center, especially her infusion nurse Christie-Ann , at Dana Farber and her nurse coordinator Alison at Reliant, for the compassion, care and love that was shown to Amy throughout her battle with breast cancer.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 13 from 5 to 7 PM in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester with a prayer service to be held at 7 PM. Memorial contributions in memory of Amy may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute 450 Brookline Avenue Boston, MA 02215.
