Mary Esther Hudson, 84, of Ocilla, Georgia, died Sunday, May 4, 2025, at Pruitt Health in Ocilla, Georgia.
Graveside services will be held 11 AM Friday, May 9, 2025, at the Ocilla City Cemetery, with the Rev. Jay Roberson officiating. The family will greet friends following the services.
Ms. Hudson was born December 24, 1940, in Ocilla, Georgia, to the late Hanson and Irma Vida Harper Hudson. She was a 1961 graduate of Edison High School in Miami, Florida. Ms. Hudson was a faithful member of the Ocilla Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir. She also got the opportunity to attend the walk to Emmaus. She loved to send cards with her own artwork. She was employed by Dix Produce in Ocilla.
She is survived by one brother, Hanson Hudson, Jr. and Jeanette of Ocilla; as well as several nieces and nephews and other relatives. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Othella Hudson, Arthur Hudson, Vida Dix and Huey Hudson.
