Stephen M. Norton, 58, long time resident of Tewksbury, MA, passed away at Lowell General Hospital on Saturday May 3, 2025.
Born in Cambridge, MA on November 2, 1966, he was the son of the late Robert T. Norton and Michele (Lozet) Norton.
Stephen graduated from Shawsheen Valley Technical High School in Billerica, MA with the class of 1984 and attended the University of Massachusetts at Lowell.
He had a passion for football, having played for the Pop Warner league growing up and all through high school with the Shawsheen Valley Tech Rams and when he attended UMass Lowell. He loved watching the New England Patriots on TV. He also had a passion for cooking and loved all things food, especially making his chili and hot sauces. He was a certified diver, loved listening to music and getting together with friends and family. If you were his friend you were his friend for life. He had a good heart, great sense of humor and truly loved his family and friends.
He worked in construction he spent many years of his career working out of Tewksbury and Somerville. He did many aspects of construction and concrete testing. This led to him founding his own construction and cement company CAP construction in Tewksbury which he operated in for many years.
In addition to his mother, Stephen is survived by his son, Alexander Norton and his fiancé Alycia; his daughters, Danielle Norton and Colette Norton. His sisters, Lisa Marden and Catherine Peirce and her husband John Peirce. He was the uncle of nephews, Tom Peirce, the late Troy Marden; and Nicholas Marden, and uncle of nieces Erica Peirce; and Ellie Marden. He is also survived by his cousins, as well as extended family members in France.
Steve will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

You are welcome to attend his calling hours on Sunday, May 11, 2025 from 4pm until 7pm at the Tewksbury Funeral Home, 1 Dewey Street, Tewksbury, MA 01876. His funeral service will take place in the funeral home on Monday at 10am, followed by procession to Saint Mary Cemetery.
