Worcester - Donna Ann Domiziano, 82, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2025, in Worcester, Massachusetts.
Born on November 30, 1942, in Greenwich, Connecticut, Donna was the daughter of Jennie and Frank Domiziano. She attended St Catherine’ elementary school and St. Mary's High School in Greenwich before pursuing higher education with unwavering dedication. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Regina Coeli College and later received her Master’s degree in Special Education from Fairfield University. Donna also spent formative years at the Sisters of the Presentation Convent, deepening her spiritual commitment and preparing for a life of service.
Donna devoted her life to caring for others with humility and grace. For three decades, she served as a Catholic Worker managing the Mustard Seed in Worcester, Massachusetts—a place where she lived out her belief that loving and serving God meant loving and serving the poor. Her work was not just a vocation but a profound expression of faith. Through countless acts of kindness and tireless advocacy for those in need, Donna became a beacon of compassion within her community. This devotion was recognized in 1996 when she was the recipient of the Nano Nagle Award, presented to a person who lives out in daily life the ideals of Nano Nagle
Donna is lovingly remembered by her sister Susan Librandi and husband Stephen Also known as “Auntie Bubbles”, Donna deeply cherished her many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved parents Jennie and Frank Domiziano, her sister Maria Servidio, and her brother Phillip Domiziano. She will also be missed dearly by Mary, Susan, and Kevin, who were her closest and devoted friends, as well as her spiritual advisor, Bishop Reidy.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. John’s Church, 44 Temple Street, Worcester, MA honoring Donna’s life of faith and service on Wednesday May 14, 2025 at 11:00 am. At a later date, a Memorial Mass and Celebration of Life will be held in Connecticut for her family.
May Donna Ann Domiziano’s memory be a blessing to all who knew her and may her legacy continue to inspire acts of love and compassion.
