TEWKSBURY: June Lorraine (Figucia) (Barrelle) Maguire, age 72, a longtime resident of Woburn, who previously lived in Tewksbury, died Wednesday, August 16, 2006 at the Blaire House of Tewksbury.
She was the wife of Joseph J. Maguire of Dracut.
Born in Wakefield on July 20, 1934, she was the daughter of the late John and Annette (Nasella) Figucia.
Mrs. Maguire was raised in Woburn.
She attended Woburn schools and graduated from Woburn High School in 1952.
Following graduation, she attended the Wilfred Academy for Hairstyling in Boston.
She was employed by the Market Basket Supermarket of Woburn until her retirement.
Mrs. Maguire previously worked for 20 years at Dunkin Donuts in Woburn.
She was a resident of Woburn for over 35 years and was communicant of St. Charles Church.
Mrs. Maguire had previously lived in Tewksbury for 15 years, during which time she worked as a traffic control officer for the Town.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, traveling and playing golf.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters; Kimberly A. (Barrelle) Sheehan and her husband Mark of Tewksbury and Lisa M. (Barrelle)Scibilia and her husband Scott of Dracut; four grandchildren; Sarah and Ryan Sheehan both of Tewksbury and Scott and Chelsey Scibilia both of Dracut; three sisters; Shirley Garbino and her husband Joseph of Woburn, Rose Scanlon of Woburn and Carole Croteau and her husband Robert of Fitchburg; also many relatives, nieces, nephews and dear friends including her dear friend and supporters; Edwin “Ted” Lord of Woburn and Maureen “Mitzi” Chaff of Lowell.
Mrs. Maguire was the sister of the late John, Paul and Frank Figucia.
Calling hours Sunday, August 20th, from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m., at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Funeral Monday, August 21st, at 8 a.m., from the funeral home, followed by her Funeral Mass at 9 a.m., at St. Charles Church, 280 Main St., Woburn. Interment at Tewksbury Cemetery.
