Jerry Van Purdue, Sr.

Jerry Van Purdue, Sr., 70, of Anderson passed away on May 5, 2025 at his home following an extended illness.
He was born on March 20, 1955 in Frankfort, Indiana to the late Gerald Roscoe and Helen Louise (Fulkerson) Purdue. He graduated from Clinton Central High School.
He owned J & P Remodeling.
He enjoyed golfing, bowling, pool, fishing, and hanging out with his family and friends. He loved spending time with his dog, Baily.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela (Mann) Purdue whom he married on October 29, 1994; five children, Jerry “Jay” (Annda) Purdue, Jr., Bryan (Kascey) Purdue; Daniel “ Dan” (Donielle Gray) Purdue, Lorie Hobart (Michael) High, and Cathleen Hobart (Joe) Barmoy-Fields; nine grandchildren, Caysee Purdue, Kamryn Purdue, Ameila Purdue, Adeline Purdue, Devin Purdue, Haley Long, Hope Long, Dawson Long, and Grace Barmoy; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Don Qualkenbush.
A visitation will be from 2:00pm-4:00pm on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.
